Tanya Gressley is an Associate Professor in the Animal and Food Sciences Department at the University of Delaware. She received her B.S. and M.S. degrees in Animal Science from the University of Maryland and her Ph.D. degree in Dairy Science from the University of Wisconsin.
Dr. Gressley’s research focuses on nutrition and nutritional immunology. Her current projects include assessing the impact of intestinal starch fermentation on the inflammatory response to sub-acute ruminal acidosis, evaluating bioavailability of and performance response to rumen protected amino acid sources, and gastrointestinal responses to direct fed microbials.
Dr. Gressley serves as Senior Section Editor for the Health, Behavior and Well-being section of the Journal of Dairy Science and teaches courses in dairy production and lactational physiology.
